Pregnancy and childbirth is the leading cause of death for women of reproductive age in the developing world.  We work with Mama Maisha to teach women in rural villages about accessing health care for pregnancy, delivery and contraception.

People with albinism (genetic lack of color pigment) suffer from adverse health effects as well as family and societal stigma.  Mennonite Central Committee is funding the Watu Kama Sisi ("People Like Us") project to rural villages in Mwanza Region.
